Now Introducing . . . A Brand New Resource For Music Teachers!

Posted on 11/07/202310/24/2023 by Mrs. V

Come one, come all! Here is a BRAND NEW resource for your music room. It is absolutely perfect for the autumn season. There are several different features that will make YOUR precious prep time just that, YOUR TIME. There is enough content and activities for each grade level so you can get ready for the Christmas Season, offering both digitial and printable resources. Let’s take a look at this unit! Centers Activities for Assessments There are a number of activities that are perfect for group or individual work. These are great for assessments and developing teamwork. Set up composition stations for rhythm or melody recognition and practice. Use the color-by-rhythm work sheets or pumpkin puzzles for time fillers or in your sub tub! Each activity comes with several levels as well as color or black and white! There are even two versions with stick notation and classic notation. Both activities are easy to prep and have at the ready! Scavenger Hunts There are several notation styles of scavenger hunts within this package. Including both rhythm and melody games, there are varying levels. The melody hunt contains Mi-So and Mi-So-La with labelled Solfege names and Orff colors, without Solfege names, without Orff colors, and without both. The rhythm game comes in three levels, the first being quarter note, quarter rest, and beamed eighth notes. The second level adds half notes and the third adds sixteenth notes. All come with stick notation and headed notation. Lyric Slides There are songs and chants that are in Google drive that depict rhythms with pumpkins as well as slides wiht space for you to write in your own notation. Each song comes with arrangements for Orff instrumentation and the chants come with movement recommendations. Pumpkin Everything! As you see, everything is pumpkin-themed from the pumpkin-spiced coloring page to the rhythmic pumpkin patch and movement activities. Easy prep and already planned lessons for several different grades are waiting for you in this brand new resource! Find it here on my TPT store!
